We are going.....

to have a baby!!!
thats right stacey and i are expecting. we are soo excited to be welcoming the third woolsey grand baby. we officially found out soon after thanksgiving and our official due date is august 12th. we had our first ultrasound on jan. 15th where we got to hear the heartbeat. thankfully everything looked/sounded good. since then have had one other appointment where we heard the heartbeat again. we do have an appointment scheduled for march 15th where we will hopefully get to find out whether it is a boy or girl. yes, we will find out what we are having. its been fun researching and picking out certain things. we have already purchased our crib and i got a little bored one night and put it together. we can't wait to meet baby and we are excited that averie will have a new cousin that is a little closer than campbell. we would appreciate your prayers for a safe and healthy pregnancy for stacey and baby woolsey.

Washington DC

So, it has been over a year since we have updated our blog.  We are apparently not very good bloggers. A lot has happened over the past year but one of the most recent happenings was our trip to Washington DC. Here are a few pictures of the trip.  We had an awesome time and walked a lot of miles!

Arlington National Cemetery - We walked the cemetery and stopped to see the changing of the guard.

Mini & Vacation

on may 8th i ran my first mini marathon here in indy with my dad. the indianapolis mini marathon is the largest mini in the country with over 30,000 people participating. it was fun to run it with my dad for most of the race. i had to stop a couple of times and so i told him to continue if he wanted. i finished in 2:26 and i think dad finished in 2:12. it's a really fun race and im glad i did it and im glad i finished because it meant i got to go on vacation the next day.
stacey and i went on a little vacation to the western caribbean with our friends nick and heather cochran. we cruised to the Bahamas, jamaica, grand cayman, and cozumel. we had a blast and here are some pictures of the trip.

almost spring!!

well it's been a really long time since we've posted something. The weather is finally turning warm and i'm loving it. this allows me to run outside and train for the indy mini marathon on may 8. i'm really looking forward to it because my dad is going to run it with me. he will probably beat me because if you know my dad he loves to run. although, i am struggling with the running part because stacey and i have decided to start a new workout program. you may have heard of it:

we are in the first week and let me tell you, it is intense. if your looking for a work out that will kick your butt, try this. it's 90 days of 6 days a week and hour long non stop exercises. we wanted to do something that would force us to work hard. hopefully we can stay with it!
